This renowned Taiko ensemble returns to the Collins Center for a dazzling night of traditional music from Japan. The sound of 40 different drums combined with intricate ensemble movement and spectacular costumes guarantee an unforgettable experience.

 

Pre-show Talk
Join us at 6 p.m. for a pre-performance discussion with a member of Yamato and UMaine’s own Stuart Marrs. It’ll be all about the art of Taiko drumming! The talk is brought to you by the McGillicuddy Humanities Center.
