Gala Dinner
The Evening –
A fun evening awaits! We invite you to enjoy a champagne reception, delicious hors d’oeuvres and a Broadway-inspired dinner at the Wells Conference Center. We’ll pay tribute to two award winners, then venture over to the CCA to see Broadway Rocks.
The Show –
Broadway actor and UMaine alum Merritt David Janes is gathering some of his friends and colleagues from Broadway to perform on the CCA stage. These aren’t just any friends — they’re actors singing your favorite songs from the shows and roles they have performed. It’ll be a special night with songs that you’ll know and love. Even more special is knowing Janes and several of his classmates originated Broadway Rocks while students at UMaine.
Awards –
The Wilma Award, will go to the Miller Family for extraordinary commitment to serving the community through the Collins Center for the Arts. The Director’s Award will go to UMaine’s School of Performing Arts recognizing outstanding support and service to the Collins Center for the Arts.
