Paul Taylor Dance Company
One of America’s most critically acclaimed contemporary dance companies returns to Orono for the first time in more than thirty years. The program will feature two Paul Taylor classics: Company B, set to music by the Andrews Sisters, and Esplanade, which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. The program will also include resident choreographer Lauren Lovette’s work, Echo.
Join us at 6 p.m. for a pre-performance reception and talk with Cathy McCann, the Taylor rehearsal director and former dancer, and Tristan Koepke, Assistant Professor of Dance at Bates College. The talk is brought to you by the McGillicuddy Humanities Center.
