Yes! Food and beverages are served at most events at the Collins Center and you are welcome to enjoy them at your seat. The Miller’s Café is located in our lobby and serves a variety of treats before the show and through intermission. Beer and wine are available at many events. Please note that a proper form of identification is required.
For the safety of performing artists and to be accordance with contracts, cameras and recording devices are prohibited at most Collins Center events. Mobile phones and other electronic devices must be silenced or turned off. For the enjoyment of all of our guests, text messaging is not permitted during performances.
Yes! Hearing devices are available for all Collins Center events. If you would like a hearing device during your visit, just ask our friendly staff upon your arrival.
All non-subscriber ticket sales are final and may not be exchanged or returned. If you are a subscriber and would like to exchange your ticket, contact the box office at 207.581.1755.
The University of Maine is a smoke-free campus. No tobacco use of any kind is permitted inside or outside of the Collins Center for the Arts. Electronic smoking devices are also prohibited.

Coat check is provided at most CCA events by student organizations at the University of Maine. All donations from coat check services are intended to support these organizations and their respective missions.
All individuals, regardless of age, must have a ticket to all Collins Center events. Please use your best discretion when considering bringing small children. Be sure to do your research on the show’s appropriateness prior to attending. If you have any questions as to whether a show is appropriate for children, contact our box office at 207.581.1755.
Meet and greets are done in the lobby at the discretion of the artists. No one is permitted access backstage to meet with any artist without prior approval of the artist’s management.
It is uncommon for Collins Center events to be canceled due to weather, though it may occur in extreme instances. Show cancelations will be announced on our website and social media pages. For the most up-to-date show cancellation notices, follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
The Collins Center for the Arts can only guarantee the legitimacy of tickets purchased on our website and at our box office (in person or over the telephone). To ensure that the tickets that you are purchasing are real and that you are getting the best possible price, please only purchase tickets through our trusted box office.

Each student enrolled in six or more credit hours at the University of Maine gets two free tickets per semester to select shows at the Collins Center. To get your Student Tickets, simply bring your MaineCard to the Box Office after the start of each academic semester during box office hours. Please note that this offer is not valid for all shows. Of course! To ensure that you can sit with your friends, you can either place one order on our website that includes all of your desired seats, or you can call or visit our box office for personal attention.
Facility fees generally range from $2 to $6. Funds in this account are used for equipment upgrades and facility enhancements, such as new ticketing software and hardware and other improvements. This additional support ensures that the Collins Center will continue to thrive and offer the great programming you’ve come to expect!
