  • What are you listening to? I have the radio on all the time.  The news is a little to much for me right now so I am using Pandora to sift through some different music.
  • What are you watching? I am on the lookout for something new to watch.  I tried Tiger King but I just couldn’t.
  • What are you cooking? I am trying to master the best stay at home pizza. I have a couple that were good but nothing as good at the average take out.
  • What are you learning?  I am brushing up on my Excel skills, trying to create some graphs for analysis.  I am also going to try to learn yoga…I have tried in the past with little success.  Wish me luck.  I am also trying to learn how to sew. ..My sister is making masks and assures me I can do it.  I am just a fabric cutter for now but hoping to get to the sewing machine soon.
  • Where are you working from in your house? I am working from my basement.  It isn’t finished yet but it is a walkout so I have a wonderful window to look out (watching for the sun to come out.)
  • Favorite YouTube video? I love all animal videos or I should say any animal video with a happy ending 🙂
  • First place you’ll go when restrictions are lifted? I am headed to see some of the family that I have only been able to see over Facetime.  This has made me realize how much I count on having them all in my life.  I think I kinda took them for granted when I could just stop over whenever I wanted.

  • What are you watching? Turn – Washington’s Spies. It’s a thrilling and surprisingly accurate telling of the spy networks during the American Revolutionary War. It’s on Netflix!
  • What are you cooking? Penne alla vodka is my go to. Trying out more recipes from Lidia Bastianich. Next is “Drooling Gnocchi!”
  • What are you learning? Trying new recipes all the time.
  • Where are you working from in your house? My music studio.
  • What are you reading? Eragon – Christopher Paolini.

  • What are you listening to? I’ve recently stumbled upon Dodie! A great indie/folk singer from the UK she has really creative super mellow songs. Check her out! I also love Billie Eilish and I listen to a TON of classical music, operas, choral and orchestral music, etc.
  • What are you watching? The Office, I am in a constant state of re-watching The Office even without quarantine, but it always makes me laugh.
  • What are you cooking? I’m more of a baker, but so far I’ve made various types of cookies. It’s hard to find supplies because everyone is baking right now, what else is there to do- right?
  • What are you learning? Learning how to spend time away from my technology, I usually had going out to lunch, rehearsals, and spending time with friends to break up the screen-time but now I work from my computer at home and I was watching a lot of TV at night, so we’re coming up with new ways to stay away from screens by making puzzles, going for walks outside (when the weather permits), playing the piano, reading books, etc.
  • Where are you working from in your house? My music studio. I’m grateful to have windows that overlook my backyard allow me to see the sun during the day!
  • First place you’ll go when restrictions are lifted? Woodman’s Bar and Grill in downtown Orono, and hopefully all of my friends, whom I miss so dearly, will be there too! <3
  • What are you reading? Books of poetry by my favorite poet Mary Oliver. The most recent one I am reading is a fabulous collection of selected essays called Upstream. But I take the most solace, in the midst of these trying times, in these words from her poem called Invitations…     it is a serious thing |  just to be alive  |  on this fresh morning  | in the broken world.

  • What are you watching?  The West Wing from start to finish.  It’s such a welcome antidote to the current administration.
  • What are you cooking?  We made Lebanese fatayer for the first time.  On Tuesday, time we made them stuffed with onions and broccoli (frozen fresh out of our garden last August).  Tonight we’re going to try them stuffed with lamb, onions, and spices.
  • What are you reading?  Leeway Cottage by Beth Gutcheon.  Just finished The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.  Still trying to slog through Barkskins by Annie Proulx.
  • What are you learning?  Online courses:  Web Design for Beninners: Real Work Coding in HTML & CSS and JavaScript: Full-Stack from Scratch
  • First place you’ll go when restrictions are lifted?  The Collins Center for the Arts, of course!

  • What are you listening to?  Gordon Lightfoot, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Beatles.
  • What are you watching? Reruns of Scrubs – but I don’t really watch TV – I prefer to read.
  • What are you cooking?  Pizza, soups, sandwiches, Mexican but last night a delicious ‘one pan’ Chicken Apple Sausage Pasta Dish which is a family favorite.
  • What are you learning? That even though a lot of people are struggling with self-isolation, I really enjoy this extra time with my husband and teenage daughter (yes…really!)
  • Where are you working from in your house?  An upstairs closet with a window! (At the office I have no windows so this is a real perk!)
  • What are you reading?  Sandra Brown is a GREAT suspense writer!
  • Favorite YouTube Video?  Bob Marley
  • First place you’ll go when restriction is lifted?  The Thirsty Whale in Bar Harbor – after walking my favorite beaches on the Island.  A little farther?  Seattle or Disney World!

  • What are you listening to? Molly Hatchet, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughtn, anything on WKIT.
  • What are you watching? Basically the TV stays on CH5 at night time.  Any other time cameras are on watching the horse in the door yard.
  • What are you cooking? Everything, except starchy carbs.  Specialise in scallops with asparagus.  Experimenting with lots of different seasonings.
  • What are you learning? Dante, audio thru IP using CAT5E, CAT6.  Oh ya, and Ruger is a puppy on steroids.  100 lbs at 6 months. Crazy!
  • Where are you working from in your house? sharing living room with Michele.
  • Anything else? We are both the visiting type when it comes to family. CANNOT WAIT TO VISIT!!!!

  • Cooking: learning to bake bread.

  • Working out of up stairs office or in front of the fireplace at night.
  • Practicing: drum set daily and the Kalimba/recording video tracks with a band I used to play in.
  • Putting in lots of miles with dog and a heavy ruck sack  and training for GORUCK events.
  • Board games: Pictionary and Castle Panic with expansions.
  • Fighting the boredom with up-cycling old pallets into new birdhouses and teaching son how to use power tools.
